PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Luu Limited, LLC (“Luu Hydration App” or “we” or “us” or “our”) treats information and data collected or provided in connection with users’ transactions, interactions, or activities while visiting or using Luu Hydration App (includes our mobile application or any associated website). This Policy is incorporated by reference into Luu Hydration App’s Terms of Use, which can be located at www.udroneit.com.
1. Acceptance and Modification. This Policy applies to all information and data collected by us or provided to us on or after the effective date listed at the bottom of this Policy. We may periodically review and revise this Policy independently or in conjunction with modifications to the Terms of Use. Your continued use or access of Luu Hydration App following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of them. We encourage you to review this Policy from time to time. If such changes are materially less restrictive, we will make all efforts to provide users with notice of such changes and obtain any consent legally required; but, we are not liable for a failure to do so.
2. Personal Information Defined. “Personal Information” refers to your full name, your username, your street and email addresses, your mobile or other phone numbers, your age, your date of birth, your profile photos, and any other information that could be used to identify you, contact you, or locate you directly. By using Luu Hydration App, you are authorizing us to collect, parse, and retain data related to the provision of Luu Hydration App. Below we provide you with information and options, where available, regarding how we use and disclose some or all of your Personal Information, including how to access, correct, and/or remove it. You may avoid any further information collection by uninstalling, deleting, and not otherwise visiting or using Luu Hydration App.
3. Categories of Information Collected. We collect the following categories of information when you access or use Luu Hydration App:
a. Location Information. If your device permits location data to be collected, we will collect precise location data when Luu Hydration App is being used. We may collect this information when you use certain functionality, and we may also collect the precise location of your device when Luu Hydration App is running in the background. We may collect your approximate location from your IP address. Luu Hydration App uses or may use geo-location features to match or help connect users, to update users, to confirm that services have been provided, and to improve the services we offer. We may also collect, use, or disclose location information for other business purposes, including in connection with business transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.
b. Transaction Information. We collect details related to your use of Luu Hydration App, including types of services requested, dates and times of services, amounts charged, distances traveled, user-to-user communications, ratings and reviews, and other related transaction details.
c. Registration and Payment Information. To register for certain services on Luu Hydration App, you may need to provide other Personal Information to a third party, including your bank account information. To make sure users get paid, third party may keep information about routing numbers, tax information, and any other payment information provided by users. To keep your data secure, we do not store your bank account information on our servers.
d. Other Payment Information. When you add a credit card or other payment method to your account, a third party that handles payments for us will receive your card information. To keep your financial data secure, we do not store credit card information on our servers.
e. Customer Support. We may also collect information from you through your communications with our representatives in customer support.
f. Usage Information. In a continuous effort to improve, we also collect information about how users interact with Luu Hydration App, preferences expressed, and settings chosen. When we associate such information with specific personal information, we will treat the combination as Personal Information, as set forth herein.
g. Communications Between Users. As an enhanced privacy feature, we use a third-party cloud communications platform called Twilio to mask the phone numbers used during calls or texts (SMS) between users. We do not reveal phone numbers submitted on file, although we may store any call or text data, including associated date, time, and content. However, when users are connected through the ‘Special Relationship’ tool, Luu Hydration App will assume that such users have an established, pre-existing relationship and will disable the Twilio function and unmask the associated phone numbers.
h. Device Information. We may collect information about your mobile device, including the hardware model, operating system/version, software names/versions, file names/versions, preferred language, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, device motion information, and mobile network information.
i. Log Information. When you use or access Luu Hydration App, certain logs are created, which may include your IP address, dates and times on which you accessed Luu Hydration App, features you utilized, pages you viewed, pages that crashed, the type of browser you used, and other sites or services accessed immediately prior to Luu Hydration App.
j. Account Access. If we offer log in options through social media, we may collect authentication tokens, registration information, and account identification information, so that we can provide you access to your Luu Hydration App account.
4. Our Use of Information. We only use Personal Information for Luu Hydration App-related business purposes, such as analytics, marketing, and advertising, as well as other purposes designed to help us operate efficiently and improve Luu Hydration App. Examples include: contacting you in connection with your Luu Hydration App activities, such as by emails, text messages, or push notifications; for identification or authentication; for security and fraud purposes; to investigate unauthorized use of your information by another user; to advertise or market Luu Hydration App and our associates; and to generally improve and assess our features and functionalities.
5. Advertising and Opt-Out. We may use Personal Information to provide advertising on, about, or on behalf of Luu Hydration App and our associates, but we do not sell, lease, rent, or share Personal Information with other parties for their direct marketing purposes without your express consent. We may also send or show users emails, messages, push notifications, or banner ads with personalized offers and information about products and services, and we may use Personal Information to show you online advertising on Luu Hydration App, other websites, and other online services.
We provide users the opportunity to opt out of receiving email marketing messages from us and our affiliates, to remove a user’s profile, or to no longer receive Luu Hydration App’s services. To explore these options, or if a user receives an unsolicited marketing email from a Luu Hydration App email address, please contact support@udroneit.com. In the event that you request that your profile be removed, within a reasonable amount of time, your information will no longer be available publicly or viewable by other users; however, we may retain your information in accordance with and for permitted purposes under this Policy.
Third parties, including any social media services a user may use to log in, may use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from the websites and apps you visit and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide services and targeted advertising. You may be able to opt out of receiving personalized advertisements from advertisers and/or advertising networks who are either members of the Network Advertising Initiative or subscribers to the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising. We may also use Twitter Ads, Snap Chat Ads, Facebook Ads (Instagram Ads) and Pinterest Ads products for purposes of conversion tracking and serving ads targeted to users’ interests. You can opt out of interest-based advertising on those Social Media sites or apps by adjusting the personalized ad settings on your respective accounts, or by using the DAA’s opt out tool above. You may also be able to change your mobile device settings to opt out of personalized advertising through apps. For iOS mobile devices, go to “Settings,” scroll down to “Privacy,” select “Advertising,” and turn on “Limit Ad Tracking.” For location-based ads, go to “Settings,” select “Privacy,” then “Location Services,” then “System Services,” and de-select “Location-Based Apple Ads.” For Android mobile devices, go to “Google Settings,” select “Ads,” and check “Opt Out of Interest-Based Ads.”
Please note that when you opt out of personalized advertising, you may continue to see online advertising on Luu Hydration App and/or our ads on other Internet websites.
Please know that we may anonymize or aggregate data collected through Luu Hydration App and use it for any authorized purpose.
6. Use of Your Profile and Job-related Pictures. “Photos” include any photographs, images, or graphic that we obtain from users through Luu Hydration App, such as profile pictures and service- or job-related photos. Unless we expressly obtain your individual permission, we will only use your photos for purposes related to Luu Hydration App, such as marketing, advertising, and other related purposes.
7. Disclosure of Information to Others. When you use Luu Hydration App, our third-party partners, such as ad networks and analytics providers, use tracking technologies to collect information about how Luu Hydration App is used and about the devices used to access it. Our partners may also collect information about your online activities over time and on other websites or apps. When our third-party partners provide such features, they are governed by the privacy policies of their governing organizations. You may be able to change browser or app settings to block and delete these technologies when you access Luu Hydration App, but that may interfere with proper functioning. To operate Luu Hydration App, we may share your Personal Information with vendors, agents, and third-party service providers in exchange for their support services like email origination, receipt/support services, and other user relationship management services. The following are examples of how we share your information with third-party service providers:
a. Data Analytics. We retain third-party service providers to help us perform data analytics regarding the use of Luu Hydration App. For example, we may use Google Analytics Service for purposes of analyzing usage of the Luu Hydration App Platform. We may also use Braze, Branch Metrics, and Mixpanel to collect and provide reports to us showing your interaction with Luu Hydration App, and to assist us with marketing and transactional communications. b. Payment Processing. We use Stripe to process any billing information for transactions between users and, for transactions between users and Luu Hydration App, including credit card information users submit. You can find information about Stripe's privacy practice at https://stripe.com/us/privacy.
c. Other Users. We may display certain information about you to other users, including your username, photos, geo-location data, and ratings. If you submit a task as a client user, we may display your address.
d. Social Networking and Other Websites. Luu Hydration App may allow you to share information, including Personal Information, with social networking websites. Except for our marketing and advertising purposes, we do not share your Personal Information with them unless you specifically authorize it. If you choose to log in through social networking websites, we may share information about your account with the social networking site. Their use of the information will be governed by their privacy policies, and you may be able to modify your privacy settings on their websites.
e. Legal and Similar Disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose collected information, if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to comply with law enforcement requests and legal processes, such as a court order or subpoena; to respond to your requests; or to protect your, our, or others' rights, property, or safety. We may also disclose your Personal Information as part of a dispute among or between users or between users and us, as well as to an attorney in the process of obtaining legal advice.
f. Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of assets, or transition of service to another provider, your information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction as permitted by law and/or contract. We cannot control how such entities may use or disclose such information.
g. Consent. We may also disclose your Personal Information with your permission as set forth herein.
h. Research and Development. We may use the information we collect for testing, research, analysis, and product development. This allows us to improve and enhance the safety and security of our services, develop new features and products, and facilitate insurance and finance solutions in connection with our services.
8. Information Collected by Cookies and Other Technologies. Like most mobile applications, we and our third-party service providers may use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your activity from the computer or devices you use to access Luu Hydration App. A cookie is a file saved on a user’s hard drive that stores certain information about user activity. Users must agree to let cookies be saved for them, and most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. Although you can modify your browser/device settings to reject cookies if desired, this could potentially affect the availability and functionality of our services.
Any third party with whom we are allowed to share your Personal Information is authorized to use your Personal Information in accordance with our contractual arrangements with such third parties and in accordance with their own privacy policies, over which we have no control. You agree that we are not responsible or liable for any of their actions or omissions. Those who contact you will need to be instructed directly by you regarding your preferences for the use of your Personal Information by them.
9. How to Edit Your Personal Information. Luu Hydration App provides you with the ability to access and edit your Personal Information: After logging in, go to the Navigation Menu at the top left-hand corner of the screen and select “Account Settings.” So that we can protect the integrity of sensitive data, there are certain pieces of information, such as your age, that you cannot alter yourself. Please contact us at support@udroneit.com to change information you cannot access through your account.
10. Retention of Information. To preserve the integrity of our databases, we retain information submitted by users for an indefinite length of time. You agree that we may store the information we collect for this indefinite length of time, but if you request that your profile be removed, your information will no longer be publicly available or viewable by other users.
11. Information About Children/Minors. Luu Hydration App is only intended for users aged 18 or older. Users are required to affirmatively indicate their age during the registration process. If you are a parent and believe that your child under the age of 18 has used Luu Hydration App and provided personally identifiable information to us through Luu Hydration App, please contact us at support@udroneit.com so that we can delete the account and/or remove any viewable Personal Information collected from them on Luu Hydration App.
12. Security. A user’s profile is password-protected so that only she and authorized Luu Hydration App employees or contractors have access to account information. In order to maintain this protection, do not give your password to anyone. We will never proactively reach out to you and ask for any personal account information, including your password. If you share a computer or mobile device, in order to protect your information entered on public terminals from disclosure to third parties, you should sign out of your account and close the browser window before someone else logs on. We have security measures in place intended to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computer networks which may be located outside of the state, province, or other governmental jurisdiction in which you reside; and the privacy laws governing the country/jurisdiction of these computer networks may be less protective.
We take steps to ensure that your information is secure on our system. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO ENSURING, GUARANTEEING, OR OTHERWISE OFFERING ANY DEFINITIVE PROMISE OF SECURITY IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION OR USAGE INFORMATION AND FURTHER DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY THAT MAY ARISE SHOULD ANY OTHER INDIVIDUALS OBTAIN THE INFORMATION YOU SUBMIT TO Luu Hydration App.
13. Links to Third-Party Websites and Services. This Policy applies solely to information collected by Luu Hydration App. Luu Hydration App may contain links to other websites, charitable organizations, businesses, or online services and we are not responsible for other websites’ privacy practices. We advise users upon leaving Luu Hydration App to carefully review the privacy statements of any website that collects personally identifiable information. Again, as set forth herein, we do not provide your Personal Information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without your consent.
